Cafe Poetry

Hi. Long hiatus. Hopefully more stuff on the blog soon (or perhaps even a totally different blog). Quick post to say I started as Cafe Poet at The Front! I’m going to be there Saturday mornings (usually) for the next six months. Woo!

First Traverse slam for 2011: 25 February

I’m delighted to announce the first Traverse Poetry slam for 2011: Traverse Poetry Slam 25 February 2011 7.30pm-10.30pm The Front Gallery and Café Wattle St, Lyneham This month’s slam will be run by the charming CJ and Bernadette. I’ve heard there’s a possibility of cupcakes, too.

APS 2010: ACT winners

Congratulations to the ACT winners of the Australian Poetry Slam! 1. Raphael Kabo 2. CJ Bowerbird Raphael and CJ will represent the ACT at the grand final on 5 December at Sydney Theatre. Thanks to the RiotACT‘s johnboy for recording the ACT slam finals: And check out photos from the night.
